‘Segmented Seyti’ is an idea that came to the artist while she was trying to sleep. She did not startled her, she was not afraid, instead she felt empowered and filled with magic. Even though Seyti is queen of the crawlings, she evokes an emotion of hope and resistance. This is not the last you’ll see of Seyti. She is rendered on black toned paper, in ballpoint pen on top of acrylic paint and in a 6'“ x 7.5” repurposed semi-gloss black wooden frame and backed with framing mat.
Please note: Frames have been preloved/refurbished and therefor have minor unmentionable flaws, just like the rest of us.
