Hi, friends! I’m writing in the morning on my deck and it feels fantastic out! The sun is shining, there is a slight breeze, the air smells fresh grass, blossoms, and a hint of smokey campfire, and the birds are all singing. ˙ᵕ˙ I apologize for waiting until Saturday to post but I lost all motivation to do so last night. Yesterday was my kids’ field day at their school and I volunteered, running race stations and capture the flag. It was a very good time however, I had applied sunscreen in the morning shift and forgot in the afternoon and my shoulders are paying for it DEARLY. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
I’m still patiently awaiting when I can send my “Cactus Hollow Hotel” piece to Bedford, PA for the exhibition. I have received (another) rejection letter for my newest piece “Butterfly-finned Sharky” for an exhibition but I took that in stride and have applied to YET ANOTHER gallery exhibition with him. (Fingers crossed.) He deserves to be seen. People be sleeping. I also have him applied to two separate online exhibitions… which I’ve never participated in before so have no idea what to expect from that. My ideology being: the more visibility I can get, the better! I buttoned up the GIANT canvas painting I was working on for the Arts Council that will be used in the outdoor event we will be hosting later this summer. The kraken/Cthulhu still needs a name and we think that we will have a fun competition so that the garden goers can decide on the name!

My daughter got one for her birthday and I was so jealous, I had to get my own. Both my girls are already over theirs but mine has been going everywhere with me, lol! Photo 6: We went fishing last weekend but didn’t catch squat so we plan on going again tomorrow!
Thanks for listening to a bit of a dull update. You either get a dull update or a small rant. That’s what this is. Should I start sharing more weird history I am getting into? Or more of my creative writings? Or literally nothing at all? Pictures with absolutely no content? Lolololol, okay, I’m going now. Be good, y’all!
